Scope: public legal and editorial policies for Synthetic Beef

This register records the primary sources used for dated legal and platform statements. It is not a claim that these are the only laws, terms or territories relevant to publication, and it is not a substitute for advice on a specific dispute. Production preserves dated snapshots and hashes separately because online material can change.

S1 — Chile Law 19.628, current text

• Used for: the privacy policy's statement that Law 19.628 is the current Chilean personal data statute through 30 November 2026 and its current access/rectification/deletion framework.
• Limit: the law contains expression and information exceptions whose application to a particular editorial record is fact-specific.

S2 — Chile Law 21.719, deferred data-protection reform

• Used for: the 1 December 2026 commencement date and the forthcoming expanded rights and accountability framework. The law says its principal amendments begin on the first day of the twenty-fourth month after publication; the official deferred version is dated 1 December 2026.
• Limit: the public privacy policy does not prematurely represent the deferred provisions as already in force.

S3 — Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, Article 50

• Used for: the EU transparency context for generated or manipulated audio, image, video and certain public-interest text. Article 50 includes presentation rules relevant to artistic, creative, satirical and fictional works rather than treating those categories as a reason for no disclosure.
• Limit: whether a particular Synthetic Beef asset meets a defined category or territorial condition requires a fact-specific assessment.

S5 — YouTube disclosure of generative-AI content

• Used for: selecting AI use: Yes; YouTube's requirement to disclose realistic generated or meaningfully altered content; and its notice that persistent nondisclosure can result in labels, content removal or suspension from the Partner Program.
• Limit: Kua SpA applies the upload disclosure conservatively without claiming every visual element independently meets YouTube's examples.

S6 — YouTube reporting and legal-reporting routes

• Used for: the emergency procedure's recognition that platform privacy and legal-reporting routes exist alongside direct complaints to Kua SpA.
• Limit: YouTube controls its process and may change it.

• Used for: the site's WCAG 2.2 Level AA target, including transcripts/captions, keyboard access, contrast, reflow, focus and structured content.
• Limit: citing the standard is not a claim of tested conformance.

S8 — Chile Industrial Property Law and INAPI guidance

• Used for: the distinction between a preliminary name search and legal clearance, and the relevance of confusingly similar use and protected well-known marks.
• Limit: neither the independent-production notice nor a database self-search determines registrability, confusion or infringement. Any title search is documented as preliminary.

Maintenance

The owner reviews this register before each release for changed platform guidance and at least annually for all other sources. A specific episode's private release record contains the production-date snapshots actually relied upon.
