This policy covers personal data handled through syntheticbeef.lab.kua.cl, audience correspondence, complaints, right-to-comment requests and the show's private editorial record. It does not govern independent platforms such as YouTube when they process data for their own purposes.

Data Kua SpA handles

• Basic site and security logs: IP address, request time, requested path, user agent and security events supplied by hosting or protective infrastructure.
• Correspondence: name or pseudonym, contact details, message, attachments and delivery metadata supplied when someone writes to Kua SpA.
• Editorial and complaints records: disputed statements, public source material, contact attempts, responses, decisions and evidence needed for corrections, right to comment, safety and legal claims.
• Public-interest production records: model and provider identifiers, generated text, public names mentioned in an episode, transcript and provenance commitments.

Do not send sensitive information that is unnecessary for the request. Kua SpA may ask for limited verification before disclosing or changing personal data, but will not ask for an account password.

Purposes

Kua SpA uses data to deliver and secure the site; respond to correspondence and rights requests; investigate corrections, safety and legal notices; operate and document the programme; establish the integrity of published material; comply with valid obligations; and formulate, exercise or defend claims.

The site is intended to launch without user accounts, behavioural advertising, sale of audience data or direct-marketing lists. If non-essential analytics, advertising cookies or a newsletter are introduced, this policy and any required choice mechanism must be updated before activation.

Sharing and international processing

Data may be handled by service providers supporting hosting, security, email, storage and professional advice, subject to appropriate access limits. Kua SpA may disclose information when required by a valid order, to protect people or systems, or in a corporate transaction with appropriate safeguards. It does not sell or rent audience personal data.

Providers may process data outside Chile. Embedded or linked platforms collect data under their own policies; where practical, the site should lazy-load embeds and offer a plain link or transcript alternative.

Retention and security

• Routine server logs are targeted for deletion or aggregation within 90 days unless needed for an incident.
• Ordinary correspondence is targeted for deletion within two years after the last exchange.
• Rights-request verification and response records are retained for three years after closure.
• Complaints, claim reviews and right-to-comment records are normally retained for seven years after closure, or longer during a legal hold or reasonably anticipated dispute.
• Published editorial and provenance records may be retained long-term to preserve the public record, document authenticity and resolve later claims. Access to private originals is restricted and retention is periodically reviewed.

Kua SpA uses access control, limited disclosure, backups and integrity records appropriate to the material. No internet service can promise absolute security. A report of exposed personal data should use URGENT in the subject line.

Requests and complaints

To ask about access, correction, deletion, blocking, opposition or another applicable data right, write to complaints@kua.cl with subject PRIVACY. Identify the relevant data and the requested action. Kua SpA will explain any refusal or limitation required to preserve freedom of expression, the public record, another person's rights, evidence, security or a legal obligation.

At this policy's effective date, Chile's current Law 19.628 applies through 30 November 2026; Law 21.719's deferred amendments take effect on 1 December 2026. Kua SpA voluntarily accepts requests using the broader vocabulary above before that date without representing that every request has the same legal basis. See S1–S2 in SOURCES.md.
